1. Navigation Issues
- Recent changes to Internet Explorer (version 10 or higher) have caused issues when navigating around in Commercial REsource. These have to do with settings within IE and they are not Commercial REsource based issues. Your IT professional may be able to change your IE settings to resolve the issues for you, but we suggest that the easiest solution is to use Firefox or Chrome as your browser.
- To download Firefox for free, CLICK HERE
- For Chrome, CLICK HERE
- As a reminder, Commercial REsource has been tested and is only supported on the following browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8-9
- Safari 4 & 5 for Mac
- Firefox 4+ for Mac & Windows
- Google Chrome (most recent versions).
- We always recommend that users keep their browsers as up to date as possible, except for the above described IE 10 issues.
- The most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari would make for the best browsing experiences.
- Other requirements:
- JavaScript Enabled
- Cookies Enabled
2. Log In Issues
“No Access” – When I click on Commercial REsource from the REsource Center, I get a message telling me that I don’t have access.
- You need to get permission to access Commercial REsource from your Owner/Broker/Manager. Once you have it, a Roster Manager for your company will give you the role of “Commercial REsource User” in your Roster Management profile.
- Once your profile is saved with this new role, click on Commercial REsource from the REsource Center to access the system.
“Inactive User” – When I click on Commercial REsource from the REsource Center, I get a message telling me that I am Inactive.
- This message indicates that you’ve tried once before to access the system without the proper user role. Simply get access permission from your Owner/Broker/manager and then have your Roster Manager give you the proper user role as outlined above.
- The next time you try to log in you will gain access.
3. How do I edit my profile?

- These fields must be edited from within the REsource Center’s Roster Management area by someone in your firm that has “Roster Management” privileges.

- Fields that are not editable from within Commercial REsource include:
5. Can I cut and paste my bio from MS Word to the “Agent Bio” section of the “Details” page of my Bio?
- We strongly suggest that you do not ‘cut & paste’ from MS Word. Formatting issues will most likely result from this practice.
- Type your bio information directly into the Agent Bio section where you can then format it using the convenient formatting options at the top of that section.
- If you do ‘copy & paste’ your bio from a word processing program, we strongly suggest that you copy it to a basic application like “Notepad”, copy it from Notepad and then past it into the proper section of your Agent Bio. This process will avoid the headaches of having to deal with formatting issues that result from using the Word info directly.
6. Bio Pictures
- What is the best size picture for me to upload to my personal bio?
- The Ideal image size is 200px wide (@72 dpi) in a ‘portrait’ orientation.

- If, however, the “Team” is in Roster Management as such, has a separate ID # and the correct Commercial REsource User role is given to it, it will be created the 1st time that “Team” clicks on the Commercial REsource link in the REsource Center.
21. I’ve given the Commercial REsource User role to someone in Roster Management. Why aren’t they showing up in Commercial REsource or on the Public Sites??
